This development site comprises vacant marine industrial land with an overall site area of 20.74HA (about 207,464 square metres) in the suburb of Coomera within the Gold Coast City Council.
GCCM Stage II will be a full-service marina and shipyard catering for the growing nature and size of the Marine Industry. The current trend within the Marine Industry is that the product is increasing in size and the larger vessels are travelling further afield. Australia and the Pacific are benefitting from increased superyacht traffic visiting our region. These vessels are also staying for extended periods in our region. The upside for Australia is that our strong maritime industry can grow to cater for the increased maintenance that is required.
The GCCM Stage II yard is designed specifically to provide the services required by larger superyachts. GCCM Stage II will accommodate vessels up to 1200T on the working hard stand. The total site area of 20.72ha (51.20 acres).
